Kena: Bridge of Spirits, a PlayStation exclusive from back in September 2021, might be making it’s way to the Xbox platform. At least, that’s according to an ESRB rating spotted by the lovely Klobrille, who shared that a “Deluxe Edition” was recently approved for the Xbox Series of consoles.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits was a brand new franchise developed by EmberLab, and was well received on release, sporting an 81 aggregate score via metacritic.
EmberLab have been pretty quiet since the game came out, and it’s been a while since we’ve seen any updates on the franchise.
The game focuses on a young spirit guide named Kena, who travels to an abandoned village in search of a sacred temple. Within the deep forests, she uncovers the secrets of a forgotten people, where wandering spirits are trapped.
The game got a lot of attention for it’s particularly dreamy visuals, in addition to the very adorable looking “Rot” creatures that you encounter during the game. With the hints of a “Deluxe Edition” in the rating information, we could be looking at some possible expansions and improvements made to the game since it was released. Alas, there’s no date given yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know if one gets confirmed.
Will you be looking to pick up Kena: Bridge of Spirits should it make it’s way to Xbox?
