Frostpunk 2, the latest game from 11-bit Studios (launching straight into PC Game Pass no less) is getting a beta this month, allowing any interested citizens the chance to get hands on with this dystopian frosty future.
Posting on X (Formerly Twitter), the developers shared that they “Couldn’t be more excited to finally share this with you!”
The beta for Frostpunk 2 is currently planned for PC only, and will go live at 1000hrs PST/1300hrs EST/1900 GMT/1800hrs BST. The developers plan for it to be accessible from April 15th through to April 22nd.
In order to get access, all you need to do is pre-order the Deluxe Edition of Frostpunk 2, with a handy 10% discount and importantly, access to a “full 7-day beta”. The beta also includes a first look at the games “Utopia Builder Mode” which is a part of the overall sandbox mode available.
Frostpunk 2 is due for launch on the 25th July later this year, and is coming to PC Game Pass on Day One. While the console version is planned, there’s no date for that yet in sight, but fret not – it too, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on console when it arrives.
