Xbox is changing Microsoft Rewards system on Console

Simplification is the name as Microsoft has announced a change to the Xbox side of their Microsoft Rewards program. Gone are the weekly reward sets. Instead, a focus on playing games and making purchases will be the main way to earn points. Searches through Bing, and completing the daily set of challenges on the Bing rewards page. There is no indication yet on how this will affect the total number of reward points available each day.

In a statement to PureXbox Microsoft stated:

“We know that previously Xbox Rewards was split across three separate experiences. The new Rewards Hub will be more streamlined for players, combining the separate rewards experiences into one convenient location. The new Rewards Hub brings together access to all offers and Xbox-related activities and will be the destination on Xbox to set goals, earn and redeem points.

With this update, we are recalibrating our Rewards points system and updating the kinds of activities players can participate in to earn rewards, so that more players will enjoy and benefit from the program. We’re always looking at how we can make gaming experiences better for players. That’s why over the coming months, you’ll see us deploying many experiments within the Rewards program to test different ways to continue improving it, including things like new ways to earn and redeem Rewards and improved player experiences.”

I need to know your secrets.

Actually, this sounds like a great idea for Xbox Era website content. I could help you write out a guide. If we call it “How to get free VBucks on the Xbox using MS Reward Points” and it would get millions of hits. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
