Chasing Static is a PlayStation 1-era, short narrative horror experience. I love the look of things, and the voice acting in the opening cutscene seemed decent enough for this sized game.
At least that’s what I’ve been told it is because the Xbox version is completely busted. Attempting to play this title on a Series X gave me an endless loading screen after only a few minutes of cutscenes. A quick look at the reviews on the store showed that this is happening to multiple people.
This review will be updated once/if they patch the game so it is playable on the console. In the meantime take this review in progress as a warning to avoid this game until it is fixed.
