Standalone ‘MechWarrior 5: Clans’ Pilots its Way to Xbox Consoles in 2024

Developer Piranha Games has announced that they are developing a standalone title to their 2019-hit ‘MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries’. ‘MechWarrior 5: Clans’, while retaining the MechWarrior 5 designation,
represents a transformative step forward in the MechWarrior 5 franchise. MechWarrior 5: Clans linear
campaign will be an evolution of gameplay and storytelling in the MechWarrior series, experienced
from the perspective of Clan Smoke Jaguar in the pivotal conflict known as the Clan Invasion
starting in the year 3050.

MechWarrior 5: Clans sports a gripping set of gameplay features for new and veteran pilots:

• The Clan Invasion is here: For the first time since MechWarrior 2 (released in 1995), pilots
  can immerse themselves in an action packed Clan Invasion story – one of the most epic time
  periods in the franchise that changed the course of the Inner Sphere’s factions and politics
