Everything Coming to XboxEra This Week (Dec 8th – Dec 14th)
As per usual, we’re back again to let you know what’s coming to our humble independent website as a new week rolls around. We firmly believe that it’s more important than ever before to support independent publications in an industry that is increasingly dominated by several massive corporations, all competing to produce the same content.
At XboxEra, we’re doing things a little differently. In “This Week on XboxEra” our weekly feature will give you an advanced look at what’s coming up the site for you to enjoy. From our latest game and hardware reviews to sneak peeks at Patreon-exclusive content, you’ll be able to check in every Sunday and get a look at the week ahead.

As per usual, every week, we’ll be doing our best to keep you informed, and will lay out everything we’ve got planned for week ahead – that we can publicly share at least. Hardware, reviews, Patreon content, livestreams – we’ll do our best to detail it here. Again, while we’ll never share specifically embargoed details for say things like game reviews, we will give an indication that a review – or multiple reviews – will drop on a specific day.

Our goal, especially for our community of incredible people, is to set clear and transparent expectations and ensure that everything we create stays consistent and lives up to the high standards you lot expect. We know that many people look at our artwork, our website, and the quality of our output and assume we’re some large, well-funded operation. We’re not – we just work hard to do everything as awesomely as humanly possible (and, whenever we can, better than anyone else!)
Outside of website content, the community can and should expect a few livestreams this week, including a Game Awards Voting Special Hangouts episode, a couple of Patreon Peeps (Exclusive to Patrons) and more.

As always, this is about you – the people that are supporting us directly, month in, month out. Our community and our Patrons mean everything to us, so we’ll be detailing when they can expect exclusive content and how often. Working with our community is of the utmost importance to us – let us know what works, what you want more detail on. And we’ll continue to improve and grow. Doing this for a living is a privilege, and we’re so grateful for your support.
Support Our Team
XboxEra is a community-first, community funded publication. If you value what we do, and want to have a direct say in what we cover, consider supporting us directly on Patreon.
All you need to do is head on over to patreon.com/xboxera and for less than a cup of coffee a month, you’ll help keep this publication alive. As a bonus, you’ll find that we create more content than many other Patreon supported publications, and we give more back in return.
So go on, do something awesome.
