Keeping XboxEra alive, running and funded is no easy task, because – fun fact – there’s virtually no money in games media unless you’re willing to write the clickiest of click bait, rage bait or you have an enormouse guides team to make you money. None of those are us, by the way.
Instead, XboxEra has a ‘Community first’ approach, where we always seek to focus on what our amazing community of Patrons and YouTube members want to see – and go and do that!
Regardless, doing what a small but awesome contingent of lovely people want isn’t always the best for actually keeping things ticking over, so every now and then we like to host a Subathon.
XboxEra Spring Subathon
The XboxEra Spring Subathon begins today at 7am EST/12pm BST and goes for 12+ hours. The primary goal of the XboxEra Spring Subathon is pretty simple. A full day of livestreaming awesome games where we can focus on hanging out with our community as we seek to get more of our viewers subscribed to our Patreon – the only place where they can get exclusive merch, content and shows.
You can watch live on YouTube or Twitch, it’s entirely up to you!
This time, we’re also doing our best to crowdfund some of our travel and accomodation expenses – turns out heading out to places like Summer Games Fest in Los Angeles or Gamescom in Germany can get expensive, fast. Crowdfunding some of that pain away with your help ensures we can provide our Patrons and YouTube community with the best hands-on content we can muster.
