In the latest ‘Sea of Thieves News’ video Rare revealed that they’ll host a Sea of Thieves 2024 Preview Event on March 20th. In this event the developers will reveal information on in-development content for Seasons 12, 13 and 14.
In the video Rare also announced that they’ll be planning to implement Epic’s Easy Anti-Cheat into Sea of Thieves. Rare is set to integrate it into the game this month. For Steam Deck users, they’re also making it compatible to Proton.
The March update also comes with a variety of bug fixes and stability enhancements. An interesting bug that has been happening is that the waters of Sea of Thieves were infested with sharks. Rare is looking to fix this in March.
Players who play Sea of Thieves alone, will now not require Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate. Players play the game solo on Xbox Game Pass or via owning the game will not require an additional subscription.
The March update is set to release on March 14th.
