Developer Parabole and publisher PLAION have announced that their upcoming first-person narrative adventure, ‘Kona II: Brume’ will be launching on the 18th of October for Xbox consoles. Set in a rural mining village in Canada in the 1970s the game puts you in the shoes of Detective Carl Faubert as he unfolds the mysteries haunting a rural mining village while battling for his own survival.

As Carl, players will be facing a bizarre mist – the Brume – that is disconnecting the village and its inhabitants from reality and disrupting the balance of nature and will discover that they’re not entirely alone—

Kona II: Brume will be out on PlayStation® 4, PlayStation® 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).

Kona II: Brume key features:

• Explore – go into the vast fictive land of Manastan in Northern Canada and fight your way through the village – or what’s left of it. Search for clues in wooden shacks, visit nearby locations on your trusty dog sled and navigate the surrounding lakes.
   
• Investigate – follow your clues and findings very carefully. Consult Carl Faubert’s Journal and put your detective skills to the test. Can you piece together the mystery behind the brume?
