Halo Infinite’s Season 5 ‘Reckoning’ Launches October 17—Extraction mode, AI in Forge, Flood Cosmetics, Two Arena Maps, More

Developer 343i has announced a new season that’s inbound for their latest shooter ‘Halo Infinite’. On the cusp of the HaloWC, 343i will be adding a slew of flood-themed customisation items, integrating AI in Forge, Halo 4’s extraction mode makes a return, Battle Pass XP in custom games, and more.

• Infect your Spartan and weapons with all-new Flood customization items.
• Venture into crystal caves (watch out for those blamite crystals!) and ancient, mysterious stone ruins on two new Arena maps—Prism and Forbidden.
• Create your own PvE experiences with the new Forge AI toolkit, and stay tuned for the arrival of Firefight King of the Hill in matchmaking.
• Level up your customization game by equipping any helmet across all Armor Cores.
• Complete your Career Rank journey and obtain the rank of Hero to unlock the Infinite Mark VI Armor Kit.
• Halo 4’s Extraction mode returns, reimagined for Halo Infinite.
• Earn XP to advance your Battle Pass in Custom Games.

Halo Waypoint

343i is also overhauling aspects of the Battle Pass system. Instead of 100 tiers, the latest BP will focus on 50 total tiers. You’ll be able to earn XP towards the pass in matches and custom games as well. A focus on ‘quality over quantity’, the Premium Pass will still cost 1,000 credits and includes 1,000 credits within the pass that are earnable. Like other seasons, it’ll never expire and you can complete it whenever it so pleases you.

The free pass will feature 20 tiers of content and access to it will end once the next Operation begins on the 13th.

  • Availability and access expires on November 13 with the start of a new Operation
  • Can be converted to Premium at any time
