Cast Your 2023 ‘Minecraft’ Mob Vote This Week—Crab, Armadillo, and Penguin Details

Another year, another Minecraft Live is around the corner. The latest Minecraft direct will air in four hours and that also means another year where fans can decide which mob makes it into the game next.

This year’s contestants are the Armadillo, Crab, and the Penguin. Check out what they’ll offer to the game below, courtesy of the Minecraft Blog.

The Crab

This little guy is special—find one, gets its claw, and you can use it to place blocks further away when building.

The Armadillo

This little guy, the armadillo, lives within the savannah biome. Whack enough of ’em and you can build a special ‘wolf armour’ set for your doggo.

The Penguin

Lastly, a fan-request from all the way back when. The penguin is a social mob, and this little guy can help you swim faster in the waters.

The Minecraft Mob Vote begins on the 13th of October and runs until the 15th. Make sure you cast your vote before the Live event is over. And of course, if you don’t already own a copy or three of Minecraft: know that it’s on Xbox Game Pass.
