During a panel at Quakecon, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition which will release this year in November 11th for all the platforms where the Skyrim Special Edition lives.
It includes Skyrim Special Edition and includes upgrades over the last 10 years and around 500 pieces of select creation club content in the game files. A new fishing mechanic will be added to the game as well.
If you already have the Skyrim Special Edition you will be able to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition. There will also be a next gen update to the Special Edition that does not upgrade it to the Anniversary Edition.
If you have never played Skyrim this year there will be a the most comprehensive way to play and a whole new way to experience the game for fans of the hit franchise.
