Hollywood heavyweight Jason Momoa has been cast in the upcoming movie adaptation of Helldivers. The film is due for release in November 2027 and will be directed by Justin Lin, of Fast and Furious fame. Keep reading to find out all the details, as Jason Momoa is due to star in the Helldivers movie.
The film is going to be based on the hit games Helldivers and Helldivers 2, which has now sold in excess of 12 million units. The initial script has been written by Gary Dauberman, who also wrote for both the the ‘It‘ and ‘Annabelle‘ horror movies.
It has not been confirmed as to who Jason Momoa will play in the film, but he is no stranger to video game adaptations, following his role in the hit Minecraft movie. He is also starring as Blanka in the Street Fighter film, which is due for release later this year.
