It’s the second year of the Xbox Excellence Awards, and the folks over at Xbox Wire have just published the lists of all the games that have made it to the finals. You can check all of the games out below, and find out some more information about the awards themselves too.
There are four categories in which Xbox have rated the celebrated titles. These are – per the team:
- Store Rating: The highest-rated content across our stores released in 2025, with a minimum of 500 ratings.
- Player Engagement: The games with the highest average hours per-player within the first six weeks of release.
- Daily Active Users: Games, expansions, or major updates with the highest single-day active users in 2025. You may notice games that weren’t released in 2025 in this list – that’s because they got a significant update last year.
- Units Sold: Top-selling content across Xbox and Microsoft stores.
There are 55 games in the complete list, and 16 of those are currently on Xbox Game Pass. The games in the table below are not shown in rating order, but alphabetically. So here they are, all of the games in the final list for the Xbox Excellence Awards 2025.
