Forza Horizon 6 devs detail 10 new features coming to the game

Playground Games have detailed 10 new features coming to Forza Horizon 6, including a new event type.

In a blog post on their site, the developers of Forza Horizon 6 have detailed 10 new features coming to the game when it launches this April. They are:

  • World Famous Japanese Landmarks
  • Alpine Snow All Year-Round
  • Master the Obstacle Course Run
  • Meetups for Every Car Enthusiast
  • Build Your Life in Japan
  • Discover Rare Aftermarket Cars
  • Better Racing with Car Proximity Radar
  • Updated Car and Environment Sounds
  • New Cars, New Customization Options
  • Enhanced Steering Wheel Animations

The first point is detailed as “Tokyo City’s iconic downtown area is home to iconic landmarks like Shibuya Crossing, Ginko Avenue and Tokyo Tower. You’ll also get to drive on roads inspired by the C1 loop, as well as iconic mountain passes like Mt. Haruna and Bandai Azuma.” Japan has been a dream location for fans since the game’s first entry.

While there are seasons returning from Forza Horizon 4, there will be an area in the mountains that is alwasy covered in snow. Horizon Rush is a new event type, focused on obstacle courses. Time Attack Circuits, Car Meets, and Drag Meets let you find people to play with in the game’s open world. The Time Attack Circuits are new to the franchise. It’s all about getting the fastest lap.

The Estate is where you’ll ‘Build your life in japan’. It’s a large customizable area shown off during the game’s developer direct showcase. You can read all about these features and more at the blog post linked above.
