Today, developer Duoyi Games announced that Season 7 to their immensely popular cooperative roguelike first-person shooter ‘Gunfire Reborn’ is now available. Dubbed “Rune Secrets”, this update introduces new seasonal gameplay, expands Act I, adds new weapons, and adjusts a hero’s mechanics for a “richer” combat experience. In addition, the base game is also available at its historic low discount on Steam—running at 45% off with the DLCs coming at up to 20% off.
“Rune Secrets” Seasonal Gameplay Begins
A strange power emerges across the land. Mysterious Rune Stones imbued with arcane effects and the Runic Energy needed to activate them have appeared. These items are the core of Season 7 “Rune Secrets.” The new gameplay is available on Nightmare and Reincarnation difficulties.
During adventure, players must collect these key items. Each Rune Stone has a unique effect but requires energy to activate. Runic Energy provides this power, with each source having a different radiation range. Strategically placing Rune Stones within these energy fields allows players to create diverse builds to dominate battles.
