Toxic Commando Gets New Gameplay Overview, Demo This Month

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando | Hands-on Preview – XboxEra

First announced several years ago, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is finally approaching the finish line. The game promises serious ‘buddy-movie’ vibes, tasking you and your pals to slay countless zombies together. We went hands-on with this squad-based first person shooter at Gamescom last year, and now it seems you’ll get the chance to do so yourself later this month.

The trailer itself focuses on what you’ll get up to, be it story missions and in-mission side quests, to what weapons you’ll be slaying with, in addition to the different classes you can actually play as. There are a couple of different editions that are now available to preorder on all platforms – a standard edition, which will net you the ‘Leon’s Secret Stash’ DLC, and The ‘Blood’ Edition – this one includes some extra bits, namely:

  • 2 post-launch DLCs including unique skins for characters, weapons, and vehicles to make sure you are the most fashionable crew of the apocalypse
  • a Cosmetic Pack Gold Color for weapons + a charm for your weapon + 1 skin per character
