This, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that their actively supported ongoing 3D fighter ‘TEKKEN 8‘ will see the premiere of its third season in March of this year. We also got to see the coming slate of characters due in the next season pass during the TEKKEN WORLD FINALS 2025 championship—with Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. making their return alongside what looks to be the visage of a new character.
The Season 3 Pass will be available for purchase starting on 10 February with Kunimitsu, the first Season 3 character, joining in on the roster in Late Spring of this year. Purchasing the Season 3 Pass grants access to all four planned characters with “120 hours of early access”, as well as a new stage, which will be detailed at a later date. The exclusive Character Costume: Aurora Outfit Pack is also included and will be available for download from the date the pass goes on sale.
Lastly, following up on TEKKEN WORLD TOUR FINALS 2025 (DRX | LowHigh was crowned victor, congrats dood!), TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2026 has also been officially announced. The new competitive season will kick off in May 2026 at EVO Japan and conclude with the final Master Event at Thaiger Uppercut 2026. Master+ events will include EVO Japan, EVO Las Vegas, and EVO Nice, while Master events will be announced later this year. Additional details on the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2026 will be revealed later this year.
TEKKEN 8 is available on PC via Steam, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5 consoles—with full crossplay support. The last character to join the roster was Miary Zo and you can read up on her right thisaway.
