Is Don’t Stop, Girlypop! coming to consoles?
The incredibly pink, bright and shiny Y2K girl aesthetic boomer shooter (what a mouthful) Don’t Stop, Girlypop! is hitting Steam in these very days. We reviewed it, of course, as we couldn’t sit such craziness out. So… what’s up with the console versions? Is Don’t Stop Girlypop! coming to consoles like Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch? Let’s find out!

Flip phones and assault rifles
Funny Fintan Softworks‘ debut title feels like a nostalgia-infused fever dream. Accompanied by an FMV-helper in a pink flip phone from the 2000’s, we need to shoot down enemies at a massive speed in what may just be the most pink and most shiny boomer shooter/FPS ever made. Players have to move at insane speeds and get rid of countless enemies, while also getting to decorate our deadly weapons with gems, dolphins, ribbons and other very manly attachments and decorations. It is certainly a riot, though it comes with a few caveats – check out our review for the game here!
We reviewed Don’t Stop, Girlypop! (formerly known as Incolatus) on Steam, over at PC, because the game has initially only been released there. This is actual quite common for indies, even more so in the boomer shooter scene. Fortunately, we’ve seen countless similar titles eventually come to consoles, even after many years – for example, the unforgettable DUSK from 2018 has come to Xbox last year! That still leaves us with the original question though – is Don’t Stop, Girlypop! coming to consoles? And if so, when?

At the time of this writing, there has been no announcements regarding any additional ports for Don’t Stop, Girlypop!. That means that neither Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or mobile ports have ever been publicly confirmed or discussed by the developer. We can hope that, if the game finds success, more platforms will be able to play this very unique shooter. It already plays well on a controller on PC, so a good chunk of the work is done already!
