Roadcraft is now an Xbox Play Anywhere title as it joins PC Game Pass

Roadcraft has converted from an Xbox console-only title into an Xbox Play Anywhere title today, as it joins PC Game Pass.

Roadcraft, the disaster recovery game from Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment released last May on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The title, up until today, was not an Xbox Play Anywhere title. While it did join the Xbox Game Pass service on consoles late last year, it was M.I.A. on the Xbox PC store.

That has been rectified with a port that sees the title join PC Game Pass, and it has converted the Xbox Sku into a Play Anywhere title. Focus was a holdout on Play Anywhere for years, with titles joining Xbox and PC Game Pass, but as two separate entries. That has changed in recent months, and when Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II joins Game Pass at the end of January, it too will be Play Anywhere.

I reviewed Roadcraft back at launch, stating:

RoadCraft is the latest MudRunner offshoot from Saber Interactive. It takes the “how to get there” puzzle of the Runner games and lets you build roads, chop down trees, create bridges and more to rebuild areas devastated by catastrophic weather events.  It’s big, a ton of fun in co-op, and a serene but slow experience solo.

RoadCraft is a ton of fun. It smartly evolves the MudRunner series, taking one of my favorite physics-based puzzle games and adding in some deliciously creative chaos.’
