When is the Xbox Games Showcase 2026
It’s 2026, and gaming fans are wondering when the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase will take place. Let’s look into the past and take a guess as to when we may get the show this year.

Dates of Xbox Showcases since 2021
As we take a look back into the past to guess as to when we will see 2026’s Xbox Games Showcase, here are the last 5 years of showcases.
- June 13, 2021 — 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK
- June 12, 2022 — 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK
- June 11, 2023 — 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK
- June 9, 2024 — 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK
- June 8, 2025 — 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK
Xbox is consistent. Barring a major shift in how they do business, the next Xbox Games Showcase should take place on June 7th, 2026, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK. What might they show? Well, that’s a whole other question!
Reveals at each of the last 5 Xbox Games Showcases
- 2021 had 27 games
- 2022 had 32 games
- 2023 had 27 games
- 2024 had 30 games
- 2025 had 31 games
At the very least, we should be looking at the high 20s in games shown off this year. Xbox has a release slate with new Halo, Forza Horizon, Gears of War, Call of Duty, and Fable titles already known. All but Call of Duty have been confirmed publicly.
Titles from their studios, like Clockwork Revolution, State of Decay 3, The Elder Scrolls VI, and more, have not been confirmed as targeting 2026 for release dates. Here is what we know about the games that are ‘confirmed’

Halo: Campaign Evolved
Halo: Campaign Evolved is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Xbox Store and Steam. The 25th anniversary of Xbox and Halo is on November 15th, 2026. This reimagined take of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign will see the game running in Unreal Engine 5. There is up to four-player co-op, and it will not contain the original title’s multiplayer.
Gears of War E-Day
A prequel set during Emergence Day. Gears of War is back, and while not confirmed, one can suspect that it will come to Xbox Series X|S, PC via the Xbox and Steam, with a PlayStation 5 port either at or shortly after launch. Not much else is known about the game, which was revealed at the June, 2025 Xbox Games Showcase.
Forza Horizon 6
Forza Horizon is heading to Japan. The game is set to be showcased at the January 2026 Xbox Developer Direct. Rumors suggest that the game will release in May 2026, which means it would most likely not be featured in an Xbox Games Showcase later in June.
Fable
Another title set to be shown off at the January Developer Direct, Fable is the long-awaited reboot of the franchise. Made by Playground Games, same as Forza, this one has no rumored release date, so it could be a part of the June Showcase.
Outside of those titles, I would expect a new Call of Duty, rumored to be a Modern Warfare game set in the DMZ of Korea. Jez Corden of Windows Central has intimated that State of Decay 3 has been elevated to a ‘hero project’, given more time and funding, and is targeting 2027.
