Life is Strange: Reunion was just announced, and it will finally bring Chloe and Max back together for the “ending they deserve”, per the Xbox Wire.

The Beginning of the End
In what seems to be a potentially early release blog post, the Xbox Wire has a full preview up for Life is Strange: Reunion. The game will release on March 26th, 2026, and is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. Chloe’s ability to return seems tied to Max’s split-timeline power that she gained in the critically ‘meh’ Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
Max and Chloe are set to be dual protagonists in the title. They are in parallel worlds, and Max has regained her ability to rewind time from the first title. The blog post describes how Max can not only jump into a polaroid to see the past, but she can now stay there as a new timeline. These abilities will be key as Max and Chloe try to survive a fire at Caledon University.
This time jumping, parallel timeline mish-mash is the heart of the title. It all sounds good, and we should get more information over the coming months as the ‘finale’ to the Chloe and Max saga hits Xbox Play Anywhere, PlayStation 5, & Steam this March.
