With just a couple of days to go until a promised in-depth look at the new Fable reboot, a collection of images has been shared online, first spotted by the folks over at MP1st. It is claimed that the screenshots are from the portfolio of an artist who worked on the highly-anticipated title, and they include shots of locations including a city you might recognise from previous games in the franchise. The article containing the screenshots was posted yesterday by MP1st and claims to show various concept locations from the upcoming game from Playground Games. There are shots of the main protagonist looking out over different placces, and one of the images includes a sign pointing to ‘Bloodstone’ – which as fans of the franchise will know is a town featured in Fable II.
Other images include underground shots and also some black and white concept images. There is also a picture showing different types of chests.
We cannot confirm whether these images are legitimate or not, but luckily we don’t have long at all to wait before we can see more about Fable at the Xbox Developer Direct on Thursday. The showcase is going live at 10AM PT/ 1PM ET/ 6PM GMT and will be broadcast on both YouTube, Twitch and Facebook.
