Narrative Adventure ‘Tides of Tomorrow’ Delayed to Implement Player Feedback

The Tides Have Shifted...

Ecological narrative-adventure game ‘Tides of Tomorrow’ has a new release date, but don’t worry, it’s not too big of an adjustment. Instead of releasing this February, the game is now coming in April.

The last we saw of Tides of Tomorrow was during the THQ Nordic Showcase last year, where we were treated to a new trailer that detailed the asynchronous multiplayer of this interesting looking game.

Tides of Tomorrow is from the team behind Road 96 and takes you to the drowned world of Elynd, where a deadly plastification threatens all life.

“Explore vast floating platforms, gather resources, and uncover the planet’s secrets as you search for a cure. Along the way, you’ll meet a diverse cast of characters, each with their own goals, loyalties, and agendas. Your choices shape not only your own path but also influence the journeys of your friends or favorite streamers in real time (and vice versa). In this shared world, every action counts and every ally could become a threat.”

The team have advised that they’ve had ‘extensive feedback’ following the Steam demo and an ongoing closed beta, and they’ve opted to give themselves a couple of months additional development time to tackle and implement improvements and ‘ensure the best possible experience’ for the game.

Tides of Tomorrow will now launch on April 22nd, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. There’s a steam demo you can try for yourself, right here.
