Announced perhaps rather unceremoniously via social media, IO Interactive have shared the news that their upcoming Bond game is also releasing as an Xbox Play Anywhere title on Xbox PC.

Writing in a new post on Twitter, the official account for the game shared the news, saying “007 First Light is coming to Xbox Play Anywhere on May 27, 2026. Experience a re-imagined James Bond origin story and ‘Earn The Number’ from wherever you play.”
This is definitely great news for Xbox gamers, particularly if you own the ROG Xbox Ally and want to play your save game in 007 First Light on the go, but it’s a good deal either way. With the Xbox version, you’ll get a copy you can play on PC and your Xbox console.
If you missed it, 007 First Light was delayed out of Q1 this year to give the team a little bit more time to meet our expectations. The game is now scheduled to release on May 27th, 2026, now releasing on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Steam, Epic Game Store, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
