The co-op feature had a trial run following its reveal late last year, and now playing with friends will form a standard part of the game on January 22nd, 2026. It was great to see both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S icons at the end of the trailer, seemingly recommitting to the game launching on both platforms as the team approaches a ‘1.0’ version, though there’s no date on that just yet.

Per Thomas Mahler, CEO of Moon Studios, ““With Wicked, our goal was to combine the best aspects of ARPGs with the best aspects of MMORPGs in order to create the most immersive multiplayer experience possible. We believe that what players really want is a multiplayer experience where you form an actual fellowship with your friends and family. One that brings back the magical feeling of playing your very first DND campaign.

With regards to the sales milestone, the team shared the news on Steam and social media. The developer shared the following, saying “1 MILLION copies sold on Steam! You believed in No Rest for the Wicked during Early Access and helped us build it into what it is today. That’s not something we take lightly. With No Rest for the Wicked Together launching next week, this community grows bigger and more shared than ever. Thank you for standing with us and for all your support.
