A YouTube premiere is now scheduled on the Life is Strange channel. The stream is titled “Life is Strange Returns in 2026” and will premiere at 12:29 PM ET on Tuesday, January 20th. The series so far has had the original game, a prequel spin-off, and three sequels.

The first game and its prequel were remastered for previous-generation hardware. Don’t Nod started the series before splitting off from Square Enix’s publishing arm. Deck Nine took over for Life is Strange: True Colors & Double Exposure. We reviewed the former, stating:

Upon game completion I had enjoyed the experience and have no major complaints about it.  This is in my opinion one of the better entries in the Life Is Strange series.  The game performed well on my Series X, the artwork, music and voice acting is of the usual high calibre and fans of the universe will find this entry as enjoyable to play as any of the others that have gone before it.
