Former Activision CEO Bobby Kotick defended himself in court filings, per Stephen Totillo’s GameFile. In it, Mr. Kotick claimed that Embracer Group was potentially behind a lawsuit by a Swedish retirement fund over the Microsoft acquisition of Activision Blizzard King.
In sad news, Meta has shut down three of their VR studios and is laying off members at a fourth. Sanzaru, Twisted Pixel, and Armature are no more. Camouflaj, makers of the excellent Batman: Arkham Shadow, have been affected by layoffs as well.
