The release date for Forza Horizon 6 has potentially leaked early, after a pop-up in Forza Horizon 5 started appearing.

Twitter account @XBOXF10 has posted an image from inside Forza Horizon 5 that gives the release date for the 6th game of the series. According to the image, Forza Horizon 6 will launch on May 15th in early-access, with a May 19th release for the standard edition.
Update: It’s worth mentioning that at this time, we’ve been unable to duplicate this pop-up in game, and neither have any colleagues across other outlets. While the release date timeframe aligns with what we’d previously heard with regards to the Forza Horizon 6, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation.
According to the image, users who buy the Premium Upgrade will receive the following:
- Early Access – Play 4 days early starting May 15th,
- VIP Membership
- Welcome Pack
- Car Pass
- Time Attack Car Pack
- Italian Passion Car Pack (coming post-launch)
- 2 Premium Expansions (coming post-launch)
Additionally, pre-orders will also receive an ‘exclusive’ tuned Ferrari J50 (a real picture of which is below) to drive. Could this be the cover car for the game? We’ll have to wait and see!

The game will be shown off next week at the Xbox Developer_Direct:
Forza is finally heading to Japan. Fans have been begging for it for as long as the series has been a thing. Forza Horizon 4 and 5 rocketed the offshoot into one of the biggest games in the Western gaming world. What we’ll see is described as “The segment will deep-dive into a very first look at gameplay, including reveals of new features – and how Japan comes to life in this stunning new installment.“
