Fans of Captain Janeway and the rest of the crew can rejoice as the official release date for Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown has been announced. And alongside the launch date, publishers Daedelic Entertainment and developers gameXcite have also revealed that pre-orders for the game are going live today and you will be able to access an hour-long demo of the title to tickle your taste buds before the game officially comes out. Want to find out more? Then read on as the launch date and pre-orders are revealed for Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown.
Alongside the pre-orders launching today, there is also a Deluxe version of the game which has been revealed. According to the team “the Deluxe Edition brings captains deeper into the unknown, adding new missions, new recruitable heroes, and powerful technologies drawn from pivotal alien encounters in the Delta Quadrant. This expanded content integrates directly into the campaign, offering fresh tactical options and new narrative possibilities for returning and first-time players alike.”
The demo is available on both Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5 and will last around an hour, giving players a good taste of the full game. “In the demo, captains will navigate a sector inspired by the legendary pilot episode “The Caretaker”. The demo includes a guided tutorial and approximately an hour of gameplay, challenging players to keep their starship intact, their crew alive, and their heading true as they begin an epic journey back to the Alpha Quadrant.”
The team have also released the Combat Deep Dive video which is shown above – “showcasing one of the core systems of Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown and how the team brought Star Trek–authentic decision-making to life on the bridge of the U.S.S. Voyager. In Voyager-style combat, you don’t fly the ship like Tom Paris and you don’t manually fire weapons like Tuvok. You make captain’s calls: directing targets and subsystems, adjusting positioning and energy levels, deciding when to launch torpedoes, and more. These decisions shape authentic, tactical Star Trek combat.”

Exploring the Delta Quadrant
From the teams at Daedelic Entertainment and gameXcite:
“Set the U.S.S. Voyager and deep in the unexplored reaches of the Delta Quadrant aboard, Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown invites players to relive—and redefine—the legendary starship’s journey back to earth. The game blends exploration, ship & resource management, roguelite elements, and meaningful choices. Experience crew dynamics and a fresh take on a beloved sci-fi universe — with what-if scenarios that open up new possibilities.
Player decisions shape both the fate of the crew and the configuration of the U.S.S. Voyager itself. With each playthrough, the ship becomes a different version of itself—reengineered and reimagined based on the path taken through the quadrant and the command decisions made along the way.
In Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, players take command of the U.S.S. Voyager as it traverses 12 vast sectors of the Delta Quadrant. Along the way, they’ll manage systems and crew, engage in diplomacy, navigate difficult moral decisions, and face the unknown. Familiar faces return, but their fates may differ—reshaped by the captain on the bridge.“
Star Trek Voyager: Across the unknown releases on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on February 18th 2026.
