The Year Ahead | Over 30+ Games To Look Out For in 2026

OPUS: Prism Peak

Launches sometime in March of this year on PC via Steam

No OPUS game is truly the same, and Prism Peak is no different. This time around, players will be following a young photographer as he grapples with his life up to this point. Where did things go wrong? Hard to ponder that when a young lady needs escorting and when there are talking animals and strange sights all around that need taking in.

For anyone who loves adventures of self-discovery and acceptance, this one is worth watching for. There’s a demo up on Steam for you to try out!

StarRupture

Now available on PC via Steam’s Early Access programme!

StarRupture is a first-person open world base-building game with advanced combat and tons of exploration. Play alone or in a group on this sublime and ever-changing planet, extract and manage resources, create your complex industrial system and fight off hordes of alien monsters.

DuneCrawl

Out now on PC via Steam!

DuneCrawl is an open world action-adventure game, where you take to the sandy seas atop a gigantic crustacean festooned with black powder cannons. Play as a solo Crab Keeper, or with a crew of up to three other friends in local and online coop.

P.O.N.

Launching into Steam’s Early Access programme in Q1 of this year

Well now, this looks interesting. A ‘found-footage’ co-op horror from the criminals’ perspective. Complete tasks for the criminal syndicate.

Bless You Again

Slated to launch sometime this year on PC via Steam

‘Bless You Again’ is a cute 3D action roguelike with a charming art style and animation framing. A few of these sorts have been coming out over the years, but this game’s got that charm we don’t get from anything else.

Jon "Sikamikanico" Clarke

Stuck on this god-forsaken island. Father of two, wishes he could play more games but real life always gets in the way. Prefers shorter and often smarter experiences, but Halo is King.
