‘EA SPORTS NHL 26’ Sees “Team of the Year” Return, Forward Winners Announced

These peeps can dish a mean puck.

Last week, publisher Electronic Arts announced that the “Team of the Year” programme would return for ‘EA SPORTS NHL 26’, celebrating the best-of-the-best in hockey with fans being able to have a hand in that selection.

With that being said, here are the forward winners for NHL and PWHL respectively:

  • Sarah Fillier, Forward, New York Sirens
  • Connor McDavid, Center, Edmonton Oilers
  • Leon Draisaitl, Forward, Edmonton Oilers
  • Nathan MacKinnon, Forward, Colorado Avalanche
  • Marie Philip-Poulin, Center, Montreal Victoire
  • Hilary Knight, Forward, Seattle Torrent

The forward nominees are as follows and the winners have been available since 6 January:

NHL Forward Nominees:

  • Nikita Kucherov – Tampa Bay Lightning
  • David Pastrnak – Boston Bruins
  • William Nylander – Toronto Maple Leafs
  • Mikko Rantanen – Dallas Stars

PWHL Forward Nominees:

  • Kendall Coyne Schofield – Minnesota Frost
  • Taylor Heise – Minnesota Frost
  • Daryl Watts – Toronto Sceptres
  • Laura Stacey – Montreal Victoire

Defense and Goalie nominees should be live and available for voting in-game, so get to that! Winners announced and available in-game on 9 January at 10am PT.

EA SPORTS NHL 26 is available on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles.
