While Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things‘ has come to end in its current form, fans of the series can still get their Hawkins-associated fix as Vecna, Dustin and Eleven are set to appear in Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Chapter 2. Check out the trailer below!
Dead by Daylight originally had a Stranger Things crossover all the way back in 2019, which featured characters Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington running away from demogorgon’s in a recreation of Hawkin’s National Library.
This time, things are a bit different – and thanks to a new Press Release, we can share all the details!
Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Chapter 2 welcomes three new additions to the Trials, led by the show’s ultimate villain – Vecna, The First – whose dark powers are guaranteed to keep Survivors on their heels. The First can bend the world around him, manifesting and weaponizing the physical presence of the Upside Down within The Fog. Sinister vines lash out at the unsuspecting as Vecna disappears beneath the ground, reemerging to curse any within his path. The haunting chime of grandfather clocks scattered across the Map may be the Survivors’ only salvation…
On the Survivor side, the iconic Jane “Eleven” Hopper and Dustin Henderson join the fight alongside Steve and Nancy. Each character brings a different set of skills, resources, and approaches to The Fog – not to mention a unique familiarity with Chapter’s Killer. The four Survivors can also count on some much-needed backup thanks to Legendary Outfits of Jonathan Byers from the original Stranger Things Chapter, and newcomers Eddie Munson (Legendary for Dustin) and Robin Buckley (Legendary for Nancy).
It’s a pretty great crossover, and for fans who loved the show and are sad to see it end, a great way to still get that ‘Stranger Things‘ fix. Dead by Daylight Creative Director Dave Richard shared his thoughts, saying “When Stranger Things first joined Dead by Daylight, it felt like a milestone. Seeing the franchise return – and evolve – is something special for us. This new Chapter doesn’t just celebrate the show, it deepens the connection between two worlds that share a love for nostalgia, mystery, and horror. The show may have wrapped, but we’re excited to give these characters the chance to continue their adventure in our game.”
Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Chapter 2 is available now via the Steam Public Test Build and isofficially launching on January 27th everywhere else. The update will expand The Fog’s roster of Hawkins characters with the arrivals of Eleven, Dustin Henderson, and Vecna himself.
