A new year means new games will be heading to Xbox Game Pass, but as always, not everything can stick around forever. The Xbox app has revealed the first batch of titles that will be departing, and there are five games set to leave Xbox Game Pass in January.

Per the Leaving soon section of the Xbox app on PC, the following five titles are set to leave the subscription service mid-way through January 2026.
Come January 16th, we’ll be saying goodbye to Neon Giant’s fantastic cyberpunk-twin-stick shooter ‘The Ascent‘, alongside day one release ‘Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn‘, ‘Road 96‘ and recent addition ‘Neon White‘. Oh, and that Grinch Christmas game – sorry, we haven’t reviewed that one.
Here’s the full list of titles set to leave, which includes the console, PC and cloud versions.
- Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn
- Neon White
- Road 96
- The Ascent
- The Grinch: Christmas Adventures
All five of these titles are set to leave Xbox Game Pass on January 16th, 2026. Microsoft are yet to reveal the first batch of additions to the subscription service in 2026, but we do know there are quite a few new games assuredly on the way.
