Developer XiangziArtStudio will be launching their coming 2D action role-playing game title ‘Fantasy Journey’ onto PC via Steam next year in 2026, with eyes set to get the game out in June of that year.
Developed over the course of three years, Fantasy Journey is what its developer best describes as a “pixelated version of ‘Sekiro'” but with a focus on quick reactions no matter your playstyle. Do you prefer to parry, dodge, and counter? Or maybe you’re the more methodolical player that prefers to block and time their attacks? Of course, simply trading blows works too, and XiangziArtStudio believes that their combat system is one that players of all varieties of action preferences will enjoy.

Have a gander below for a photo gallery and video on Fantasy Journey. Playtests are available for players interested in trying out the game and providing feedback to the developer, but otherwise you can hop into the available demo for your perusal. Remember to Wishlist games you’re interested in, too! It helps the developer with discoverability.
