Is Expedition 33 coming to Nintendo Switch 2?

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 won big at The Game Awards, and fans want to know if the game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 or not.

Is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 coming to the Nintendo Switch 2?

Expedition 33 took home 9 ‘The Game Awards’ wins, including Game of the Year. I reviewed the title back at launch, falling in love with its turn-based gameplay and incredible storytelling. That doesn’t even begin to cover how in love with the game I was pre-release. The sweeping music, excellent acting, and gorgeous views have enraptured the gaming world since then.

The title was released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via both the Xbox PC store and Steam. It was also a Day One Game Pass title. That was back in April, though, well before the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2. As this is an Unreal 5 engine title, no one expected it to run on the original Switch hardware. Is the title set to come to its successor? Here is what we know.

Switch 2

Nintenderos has reported that the developers for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are exploring “some possibilities” in regards to a Nintendo Switch 2 port. That is, unfortunately, all we know for now about whether this incredible game is set to come to Nintendo’s latest device.
