Mat Piscatella of Circana has given us the rundown for the US video game market for November 2025. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 led sales on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC for November. It instantly became the 7th top-selling game of the year, a far cry from its usual #1 spot. There is a free trial available today across Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam.
The game was down in the “double digits” compared to Black Ops 6’s launch month (Oct ’25). Call of Duty, as a franchise, maintained its streak of being the best-selling title of its launch month. That streak is now at eighteen years running. The game received solid reviews at launch, including our own, but has been ravaged with lower scores in late coverage.
