As 2025 comes to a close, many developers are still hard at work, and today the team Tarsier and Publisher THQ Nordic have announced that co-operative horror adventure ‘REANIMAL‘ has gone gold – meaning that release date in February 2026 is a lock.
REANIMAL is a brand new, co-op horror adventure from the original creators of the Little Nightmares franchise. You’ll play as a brother and sister that have to traverse a pretty horrific looking world as they search and hopefully rescue their missing friends. Per the developers, “the game combines intense stealth, environmental puzzle-solving, and cinematic platforming. REANIMAL presents a haunting and unforgettable journey through unimaginable horrors.“

There’s a demo available right now for curious gamers to check out on both Xbox Series consoles and PS5, so if you fancy experiencing some co-operative horror, now’s your chance, but personally, I’m going to be going in blind and tackle the game for our review, which hopefully you can expect at some point before launch.
