This week, Storytaco and WHYNOT Media announced that their full-motion video (“FMV”) dating sim title ‘Heroines Through My Lens’ is now available on PC via Steam—retailing at 19.99 USD with a 20% off discount running thru the 28th of this month.
“Me? A lookbook shoot?!” New hire Kim Jiwoo joins YouTube studio Lazaworks and gets thrown into photographing top youtubers and his own bosses on day one. Under the bright lights, stolen glances turn into secret favors and forbidden romances. The more you shoot, the more hearts stolen.
Have a gander below for more details on Heroines Through My Lens. A demo is available for your perusal. Publisher Storytaco has also seen over 400K sales to date in the hybrid live-action game market.
Players take on the role of Kim Ji-woo, a rookie photographer at the lookbook production company Lazaworks, capturing relationships and emotional moments unfolding on set through their camera lens. As shoots progress, fleeting glances, secret requests, and boundaries that should not be crossed cause subtle emotional shifts among the characters, driving a tense and immersive narrative.
The game features popular YouTube and social media creators, including (left to right) Yoo-nah Ha, MomoRina, So-yeong Lee, Soyeon Jeong, and Irene Gam. Each character has an individual storyline and ending, with player choices leading to a variety of outcomes such as office romance, forbidden love, and secret relationships.
Storytaco’s FMV projects have surpassed 400,000 units in cumulative sales to date, with the “Five Hearts Under One Roof” series in particular demonstrating the commercial potential of the FMV genre. This new title is also a hybrid project born from collaboration with video production studios across drama, film, and YouTube, and is seen as a key example of the expanding FMV production ecosystem Storytaco has built.
Storytaco stated, “By expanding collaborations with global production partners in Japan, North America, and beyond, we aim to present a new standard for FMV story games worldwide,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our influence in the global FMV market.”
