As we approach the end of the year, it’s naturally getting a little bit quieter around here in terms of things to do. News starts slowing down, game reviews are less frequent and it all just becomes…calmer. While there definitely won’t be much to talk about next week, we’ve still got next week to deal with. So, as per usual, here’s This Week on XboxEra, from December 15th through to December 21st.

As you probably understand by now, every week we try to highlight all of the content and plans for the week ahead. Hardware, reviews, livestreams and exclusive Patreon content, we aim to share everything we can so you can know just when to tune in. We’ll never share specifically embargoed details for say things like game reviews, we will give an indication that a review – or multiple reviews – will drop on a specific day.
Our aim, especially within our community, is to set clear expectations and ensure that everything we create stays consistent and lives up to the high standards our readers expect. We know that many people look at our artwork, our website, and the quality of our output and assume we’re some large, well-funded operation. We’re not – we just work hard to do everything as awesomely as humanly possible (and, whenever we can, better than anyone else!)
Beyond website content, the community can also expect several livestreams this week, including more than a few Coffee With Cabesa showings, a Patreon Peeps episode (exclusive to patrons), and Jon is even going to tackle Alan Wake 2.
As always, if you want to support us directly, it’s best to do so via Patreon.
Support Our Team
XboxEra is a community-first, community funded publication. If you value what we do, and want to have a direct say in what we cover, consider supporting us directly on Patreon.
All you need to do is head on over to patreon.com/xboxera and for less than a cup of coffee a month, you’ll help keep this publication alive. As a bonus, you’ll find that we create more content than many other Patreon supported publications, and we give more back in return.
So go on, do something awesome.
