Our main topic was around Call of Duty, moving away from back-to-back sub-franchise releases:
Firstly, the team note that for some players, “the Franchise has not met your expectations fully” and that the team plan to “deliver, and overdeliver, on those expectations as we move forward.” They’ve also announced a free weekend, starting next week for all players to check out Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and Zombies in full, alongside a Double XP weekend. Going forward, the game will have “unprecedented seasonal support”, which sounds pretty good if you’re a hardcore Call of Duty fan.
However, it’s fair to say that while the Multiplayer and Zombies are pretty great, the campaign has faced a fair amount of criticism. This feels like a response to that.
