During a review on the BBC News YouTube channel, Xbox’s Jason Ronald was asked about OG Xbox games coming to GP in the future, and while he didn’t confirm it outright, he stated there are ‘exciting things to share’ in 2026.

In a review of the Xbox Ally handheld, interviewer Tom Gerken had a short segment with Xbox’s Jason Ronald, the Vice President, Xbox Gaming Devices & Ecosystem. In the segment, Tom asked Jason about the potential of original Xbox games coming to Game Pass. You can find it timestamped in the video below, as well as directly quoted here:
Tom: “Are you going to bring more Original Xbox games to Game Pass in the future?”
Jason:”I can’t announce anything today, but what I will say is in 2026 is the 25th anniversary of Xbox. And we want to celebrate the great legacy and history that we have as Xbox, as well as defining the future of where the Xbox ecosystem is going. So, I can’t confirm or deny what you are asking, but stay tuned we have a lot of exciting things to share next year.”
