Microsoft Flight Simulator’s collab with Stranger Things has been unveiled as the Hawkins Heli-Tour.
The upside-down is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Xbox and Netflix are collaborating for the ‘Hawkins Heli-tour’. The 90-second-long video features an ’80s retro look as part of a commercial for the fictitious sightseeing service.
Why rural Indiana would have a sightseeing helicopter tour only Jeebus may know. There was a phone number shown multiple times in the video. I called it and was met with Murray Bauman, a character from the show, who left a recording calling for helicopter pilots to help save the situation going on during season five of the show.
We’ll have to wait and see exactly what the in-game content entails when the DLC launches at what most would hope is some point soon. Stranger Things 5 aired its first half over Thanksgiving evening. Three more episodes will air on Christmas with the finale on New Years.
Flight Simulator 2024 came to PlayStation earlier this month, in a move that a studio lead was led by a request by a Sony executive.
