Marvel’s Wolverine, the next Marvel game from the illustrious Insomniac Games, is set to release sometime Fall of 2026. We’ve seen a bombastic gameplay trailer that showcased the gory and up close and personal nature of the game. So we know when we’ll be able to purchase the game, but for all those who are already subbed to Xbox Game Pass, there’s always one question. Is it releasing on the service? Keep reading to find out!
Marvel’s Wolverine was announced quite a while back, first with just a CG trailer teasing the game being in development, to a full blown gameplay reveal. Though unfortunately between that time we did have a large leak of the game, from a full blown playable build to major story spoilers. It doesn’t seem to have bothered Insomniac any, however, as they’ve continued working on the game steadily. Now they’re finally getting close to releasing it, so let’s see if it’s going to release on Xbox Game Pass.
Is Marvel’s Wolverine on Xbox Game Pass?
As expected, Marvel’s Wolverine is not releasing on Xbox Game Pass day one. This should come at no surprise to anyone who knows the PS5 lineup of games, as Insomniac Games are a first party developer for them. Sony also has yet to regularly release their first party games on Xbox. Meaning, of course, that the game will also not release on Xbox Game Pass. Though their Spider-Man games did release on PC at one point. So there’s a chance Marvel’s Wolverine may also be playable on the next Xbox assuming their PC Console hybrid plans come to fruition.
