As per usual, as the year draws to a close, Spotify Wrapped is here, detailing for us ‘creators’ just how well our shows are doing. And for our 2025 ‘Spotify Wrapped’, The XboxEra Podcast has some pretty cool metrics to share!
Across 250,000 plays overall (that’s everywhere The XboxEra Podcast is available), our top episode was Episode 250, featuring of course none other than Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer (Thanks Phil!).

Once again, the XboxEra Podcast is in the top 5% of video podcasts on Spotify.
And in 2025, our show grew faster than 81% of other shows. 💚

The XboxEra Podcast also pulled off a number of pretty cool statistics, that we’re pretty pleased with:
- Top 5% of video podcasts on Spotify. For a small team like us, that’s bloody marvellous!
- Listened to in 60 countries, worldwide. Our top countries were, from smallest to largest – Germany, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and United States.
- Our fans had an eclectic taste in music. The top 5 artists listened to by our audience were Drake, Eminem, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Linkin Park.
- We’re in (mostly) good company. Our audience listened to other shows, with the top 5 there being The XB2, Kinda Funny Games Daily, The Joe Rogan Experience, Kinda Funny Gamescast and Defining Duke: An Xbox Podcast.
Our fans are it seems, as dedicated as we are. According to Spotify, fans listened to The XboxEra Podcast for longer than 98% of other shows, and we recieved 98% more comments than other shows too. Perhaps that’s also why, according to Spotify, that the XboxEra Podcast’s growth outpaced 81% of other shows to cap it off.
