Escape from Tarkov has hit 1.0 on PC, and fans around the globe are curious if the game is coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
Console Versions
Escape from Tarkov is the first big extraction shooter. The focus is on prepping, looting, shooting, and getting out of dodge. The game was in early access on PC for years before launching version 1.0 in late 2025. Fans immediately began to ask if this immersive military-sim would be coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
While the game is not currently available for consoles, there is a version in the works, per recent reports. Whether PC and Console players will play the same version of the game on the same servers is yet to be seen. Console players would have a massive disadvantage due to the quick time-to-kill and constant cheating problems on PC.
