Have you ever taken Humanzapro? In High on Life 2, it’s a new drug that’s described as ‘the first solution for chronic misery made from real human happiness.‘ The other thing that might make you happy of course, is that High On Life 2 pre-orders are live across all platforms.
In true Squanch Games fashion, the team have even created a mock website for the in-game drug ‘Humanzapro’, complete with catchy slogans like ‘Happiness, sourced straight from humanity‘ and ‘Humanzapro, it’s totally fine that it’s made out of humans.‘ It’s all to point out that their upcoming sequel to the excellent High on Life (you can check out or review here) is on the way. High on Life 2 is now available to pre-order across Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Players who pre-order High on Life 2 will also receive an exclusive set of in-game headwear. Of course, it being a first person shooter, this headwear isn’t for your bad-ass bounty hunter self, but for your assortment of amusing talking guns.
Per Squanch Games, “They come in a sweet suite of colors for each gun, including classic banker green, orange, blue, some kind of blue-green, purple-ish, and magenta (?). Keep your pals’ peepers protected while proudly proclaiming, “I PRE-ORDERED HIGH ON LIFE 2!”.
As always, the team at Squanch Games know just how to extract a chuckle out of me.
We already got to spend a fair amount of hands-on time with High on Life 2 back at Gamescom earlier this year, and this sequel is riding high as one of our most anticipated titles for early 2026. As this is a sequel, the plot does continue on from the first game – following your victory against the cartel, you saved humanity and became a pretty bad-ass bounty hunter. But in High on Life 2, “a mysterious figure from your past reappears and puts a price on your sister’s head, your cushy life gets thrown into chaos.“
More on High on Life
If you missed our review of the first game, and it’s expansion, ‘High on Knife‘, feel free to dive back in and give them a read. The nutshell? “What you have under an incredibly imaginative and well-made FPS, is a lot of heart, great humor, and a surprisingly engaging story. I haven’t laughed or chuckled as much as this since Portal 2. You should absolutely play this – it’s a great end to the year for Xbox users.“
High on Life 2 is releasing February 13th, 2026 on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and the Epic Games Store, and of course you can play it Day One on Xbox Game Pass. We look forward to getting our hands on it and bringing you our review a little closer to the time.
