Per the super cool doods at MP1st, the publication writes that a new ‘Dead Rising’ game is in the works and is to be set in Hollywood. And no, this isn’t another remaster or rerelease but rather a full-fat sequel. The game seemingly has been in development since 2023 under the codename “Rec”, but I’ll leave you to check out the article in question to gleam the rest of the details out.
Frank West has just been itching to cover his next war and, if CAPCOM is actually to bless the world with a sequel after the… small disaster that was ‘Dead Rising 4’, this couldn’t be grander news. In the meantime, know that every Dead Rising is available across PC and consoles and the last release, ‘Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster’, is an all right way to play an amazing game—but personally, I’d hunt down a copy of the original copy.
