Last night, publisher GRYPHLINE made available their second closed beta test run for their up and coming 3D strategy role-playing game ‘Arknights: Endfield’ across PC, iOS, and Android devices. For those who have signed up to be a tester (sign ups are now closed), eligible recipients should have received their invite access in their e-mail inboxes—but you can also check your eligibility access by going over to the game’s official website.
A PlayStation 5 version of the Beta Test II run will go live on 12 December and will also feature identical content to the currently running beta test on PC and mobile. No end date for the test has been announced, but do note that all progress in this beta will be cleared once it’s over.
The Beta Test II delivers 50-60 hours worth of polished content from a work-in-progress build of the game. Informed by player feedback from the previous test, the development team has significantly overhauled Arknights: Endfield for Beta Test II, featuring a rebuilt storyline with new cutscenes and animations, revamped combat systems, a brand-new explorable region, and more. During this test, data can be synchronised between PC and mobile devices using the same account. The beta will support English, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, and Russian languages.
Rebuilt Story & New Region: A fully reworked storyline with new cutscenes and dialogue animations where player choices lead to unique outcomes. Endministrators can explore Wuling, a new region that blends Eastern aesthetics with futuristic elements, combining traditional with contemporary.
New Characters & Updated Combat: Nine new operators, including three six-star characters: Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik. Combat updates include combo skills, refined abilities, and updated boss encounters.
Factory System & Other Features: Endministrators can build and expand their Automated Industry Complex (AIC), craft items, and use new features like photo mode, teammate guidance, and crate detection.
Multi-Platform & Player Rewards: Enhanced controls and visuals across PC and mobile. Fans can pre-register to earn Basic HH Permits, the five-star operator Snowshine, and special rewards when the community reaches 5 million followers.
‘Arknights: Endfield’ will be launching sometime in early 2026 across PC, mobile devices, and PlayStation 5 consoles.
