Silent Hill 2 Remake Arrives on Xbox – with a 50% Launch Discount

Updated 21/11/2025: Following its appearance in other timezones that had already arrived in the 21st of November, Bloober Teams Silent Hill 2 Remake is now available on Xbox Series X|S and the Xbox PC store (Yes, it’s Xbox Play Anywhere) – and even better, it’s got a whopping 50% discount. So if you were waiting, now is the best time. It’s also been bundled with Silent Hill f, so if you want to pick up both and make a saving, you can do that too.

Original Article Posted 20/11/2025: In what is now a pretty poorly kept secret thank to various leaks, be it rumours, an ESRB rating or the Xbox Digital store, it’s finally official – Bloober Teams ‘Silent Hill 2 Remake‘ arrives on Xbox and in Xbox Play Anywhere form.

It’s not technically meant to be ‘announced’ until later today, and presumably in the Xbox Partner Preview, but it’s already available on the Xbox Australian Store (not here in the UK just yet) – and with a discount, at least per this post on BlueSky.

We’re sure a nice new Xbox release trailer is on the way, but it doesn’t look like Xbox fans will have to wait very long to get their hands on the game.

The Silent Hill 2 Remake did very well for both Bloober Team and publisher Konami, and it’s great that following the year long exclusivity period for Sony and PlayStation 5, Xbox gamers will finally get a chance to play. Following the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team went to make the excellent CRONOS: The New Dawn, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
